The Economy Research group discuss the 2nd half of 2024 Economic Trends Survey

On November 1st, the Economy Research Group (Chair : Mr. KORODA Jun, JETRO Bangkok) held a meeting to discuss the implementation of the Business Trends Survey in the 2nd half of 2024.

This survey was conducted twice a year in the 1st and 2nd half of the year to investigate trends in business sentiment and capital investment among Japanese companies in Thailand and to submit necessary details to the Thai government.

For survey in this time, they considered to add questions on “minimum wage revision”, “competitive situation of products and services,” “urgent policies of the new administration,” etc. as special questions. The survey will be sent to all member companies at the end of November and the results will be announced in January next year.
