The Garment & Textile Division holds March Meeting and Factory Tour

On March 19th, The Garment & Textile Division (Chair : Mr. KIMURA Masahiro, Toray Industries (Thailand) Co., Ltd.) held a meeting to exchange information on the general economic situation in Thailand and the textile market and there was a lecture of Thai Num Choke Textile Co. Ltd. that were Mr. Kamin and Mr. Bandit to introduce their company and products before went to visit their factory.


Afterwards, we took a bus to visit the company's factory in Samut Prakan for a factory tour. This company produces fibers that don’t use chemicals but instead take advantage of the functions of natural materials, such as lemongrass, which has insect repellent properties. The company is a family-owned business that continues to work steadily, and the tour was a learning experience for Japanese-affiliated textile companies.
