The Education Subcommittee held the Awarding Ceremony for the JCC scholarship 2024

On March 28th, the Social Contribution Committee, Education Sub-Committee (Chair : Mr. SATO Hiroyasu, Mitsubishi Company (Thailand) Ltd.) held the Awarding Ceremony for the JCC scholarship 2024. 


In this year, there were 2 scholarship programs. First program was the existing scholarship program for graduate and undergraduate students of local national universities (Khon Kaen University, Chiang Mai University, Lanna Ratchamongkorn University <Chiang Mai Campus>, Suranaree University of Technology, Mae Jo University, and Songkhla University) and the Second program was for engineering students at universities in the suburbs of Bangkok (Rajamangala University of Technology Thanyaburi, Rajamangala University of Technology Tawan-ok<Ban Phra Campus>, Rajamangala University of Technology Suvarnabhumi <Nonthaburi Center>, Rajamangala University of Technology Krungthep, and Thai-Nichi University of Technology), which were newly started in fiscal 2024.


The Awarding Ceremony this year had 50 students from both programs selected through a selection process by the respective university and JCC Education subcommittee members. The scholarship recipients were presented with their scholarship certificates by Ms. Wannee Nongsiri, the representative of the Ministry of Higher Education, Science, Research and Innovation, Thailand (MHESI) and Mr. Sato, Chairman of the JCC Education Sub-Committee committee.
