The Education Subcommittees attend the ceremony of Luch Project

On January 24th, a ceremony was held at Bannakam School in Nakhon Phanom Province to donate chickens and chicken coops for lunch project implemented by the Social Contribution Committee, Education Sub-Committee (Chair : Mr. TO Kozo, Sumitomo Corporation (Thailand) Ltd.).


This is the one of JCC’s social contribution activities that donates chickens and chicken coops to elementary and junior high schools in rural areas so that the students can learn about poultry farming, use the eggs for lunch, and develop business sense by selling eggs.


This year was the 24th year of this project. We donated 550 chickens (approximately 1,570,000 bath) to four elementary and junior high schools in the northeastern of Thailand.
