Japanese Chamber of Commerce, Bangkok (“JCC,” “we,” “our,” or “us”) recognizes the privacy of your Personal Data. Therefore, JCC issues this privacy notice (the “Privacy Notice”) to describes how JCC collects, uses, and discloses (collectively, “process” or “processing”) your Personal Data. JCC will make our best efforts to ensure that all of our personnel will comply with this Privacy Notice.

This Privacy Notice applies to all communication with you, who is a contact person or representative of JCC members, vendor, visitor, government official, attendee of JCC events, or applicant or candidate in JCC recruitment fair (“you” or “your”), through every channels, both online and offline, whether face-to-face, over the phone, or via any other means used in communications for any activities.

JCC may periodically update this Privacy Notice to reflect changes in our conducts, personal data protection laws, or other applicable laws. JCC highly recommends that you revisit this Privacy Notice periodically to learn of any changes. If any changes require your consent under the applicable laws, JCC will seek for your consent before doing so. For your ease of reference, JCC indicates the version and date of this Privacy Notice at the top the page.

Under this Privacy Notice, "Personal Data" means any information relating to a person that enables the identification of that person, whether directly or indirectly.

JCC collects your Personal Data that is provided by you, your company, or any third parties. Your Personal Data to be collected includes but is not limited to the following:

• Identity Data
  Your name, surname, age, date of birth, job data, job position, signature, photographs and videos of you, national identification card data, passport data, drivers license data, data in other types of identity document issued by a government (excluding the Sensitive Data), and any other data that is able to verify your identity (collectively, "Identity Data");

• Contact Data
  Your personal or business phone number, mobile number, fax number, address, and email address, as well as your social media profile (collectively, "Contact Data");

• Transaction Data
  Your transactions with JCC, agreement data, services or products purchased, contact history, company directors and shareholders, comments, questions, inquiries, feedback, or survey responses (collectively, "Business Transac tion Data");

• Recruitment Data
  Your educational background, work experience, salary, CV data, resume data, and other data that is generally provided for recruitment; (collectively, "Recruitment Data") and

• Sensitive Data
  Your religion and blood type (collectively, "Sensitive Data").

In various situations, JCC does not intend to process your Sensitive Data. However, as the Sensitive Data is contained in several identity documents, e.g. national identification card, JCC may conceal or ask you to conceal the Sensitive Data contained in those documents so that JCC will not process the unnecessary Sensitive Data.

If you provide JCC with any Personal Data of other persons, you represent that you have the authority to do so in accordance with this Privacy Notice and such other persons have been informed of this Privacy Notice.

JCC's activities are generally not aimed at any person who is a minor. If JCC learns that JCC has collected Personal Data of any minor, JCC will proceed to comply with the applicable law promptly. If you are a minor and consent for JCC to process your Personal Data, you must indicate that your parent or guardian has consented to you doing so.

JCC processes your Personal Data for the purposes below on the following legal basis:

• your consent;

• contractual obligation under any agreement you entered into with JCC;

• JCC's legitimate interest;

• JCC's legal obligation;

• vital interest; and

• the establishment and defense of legal claims.

If JCC processes your Personal Data based on your consent, you are able to withdraw your consent at any time as described in section 8 below.

Your Personal Data is required for the purposes below. Otherwise, JCC may not be able to undertake any intended actions with you. The purposes of processing include but are not limited to the following (collectively, the "Purposes").

• Contact and provision of information purpose
  Your Identity Data and Contact Data are processed on JCC's legitimate interest basis in order to contact you or your corporate entity, provide information regarding JCC events, analyze and respond to your comments, questions, inquiries, or feedback, and provide information regarding this Privacy Notice and other documents related to you, e.g. terms and conditions.

• Business transaction purpose
  If you are a JCC vendor or contact person or representative of such, your Identity Data, Contact Data, and Trans action Data are processed on a contractual obligation basis in order to determine whether to enter agreements with you or your corporate entity, authenticate and verify your identity, keep as records and evidence, order products or services, contact your corporate entity regarding agreements, perform contractual obligations, prepare purchase orders, manage payments, facilitate transactions, and for other contractual undertakings.

• Directory purpose
  If you are a contact person or representative of JCC members, your Identity Data and Contact Data are processed on JCC's legitimate interest in order to compile a JCC member directory.

  In addition, JCC also publishes the JCC member directory on your consent for distributing to JCC members or other organizations and for selling publicly, both in Thailand and abroad.

• JCC member recruitment purpose
  If you are an applicant or candidate in JCC recruitment fair, your Identity Data, Contact Data, and Recruitment Data are processed on your consent in order to consider the eligibility for a job, match you with a requirement of JCC members, propose to JCC member for an employment, facilitate the employment process between you and JCC members, and other related purpose for recruitment.

• Advertisement purpose
  Your Identity Data, especially photographs of you, are processed on your consent in order to promote and advertise JCC and JCC events.

• Operation purpose
  Your Identity Data, Contact Data, and Transaction Data are processed on JCC's legitimate interest basis in order to manage and improve JCC operations, manage internal compliance, implement this Privacy Notice and other documents related to you, e.g. terms and conditions, conduct and analyze market research, analyze both online and offline communication channels, enhance security, and for other operational purposes.

• Security purpose
  Your Identity Data, especially video of you as captured by CCTVs, are processed on JCC's legitimate interest basis in order to maintain security.

• Identification and record purpose
  Your Sensitive Data as shown in your identity document may be processed with your consent in order to authenticate and verify your identity, and to keep as records and evidence.

JCC will retain your Personal Data for only as long as reasonably necessary to fulfil the Purposes. If a judicial or disciplinary action is initiated, your Personal Data may be retained until this action ends, including during any potential period for appeal, and will then be deleted or archived, as permitted by applicable law.

JCC implements the appropriate physical and electronic security measures to store your Personal Data and prevent it from being accidentally lost, or used, accessed, damaged, destroyed, altered, or disclosed without authorization. The physical security measure includes locked lockers. The electronic security measures include limited access-control and antivirus protection. JCC will also promptly take corrective actions upon the occurrence of a security incident.

For the above Purposes, JCC may disclose your Personal Data to other Japanese Chamber of Commerce, trade associations, JCC members, vendors, service providers, external advisors, auditors, government agencies, directory, or any other third parties, whether private or governmental. JCC ensures that those who receive your Personal Data will have adequate personal data security standards according to the applicable law.

JCC may sometimes disclose your Personal Data to locations outside Thailand where the personal data protection standards under the law may be inferior to those under Thai laws, e.g. Japan, for the Purposes. In such a case, JCC will seek your explicit consent prior doing so and ensure that those who will receive your Personal Data will have adequate personal data security standards under the applicable law.

You have the rights regarding your Personal Data as described below. Please contact JCC as provided in section 8 if you wish to exercise any of these rights. JCC may require you to prove your identity before complying with your request or exercise of rights in order to protect your own privacy and security.

• Right to access
  You have the right to access or request copies of your Personal Data. JCC will only provide you with access to the Personal Data contained in the documents requested, and not to the full documents themselves.

• Right to rectification
  You have the right to rectify your incomplete, inaccurate, misleading, or out-of-date Personal Data.

• Right to data portability
  You have the right to obtain your Personal Data you have given to JCC or to request the transfer of your Personal Data to any third parties if such Personal Data is processed with your consent or on a contractual basis.

• Right to object
  You have the right to object to the collection, use, or disclosure of your Personal Data in certain cases, including but not limited to objecting to the processing for direct marketing purposes.

• Right to erasure
  You have the right to request that JCC delete, destroy, or anonymize your Personal Data in certain cases, including but not limited to when the Personal Data is no longer necessary for the Purposes, or when your Personal Data has been unlawfully collected, used, or disclosed.

• Right to restriction
  You have the right to request that JCC restrict our use of your Personal Data in certain cases, including but not limited to: (i) when JCC is considering a request you have made to object to the processing of your Personal Data; (ii) when you have requested that JCC retain Personal Data that would otherwise be destroyed or deleted, and that JCC instead restricts its use; or (iii) when your Personal Data is no longer necessary, but JCC cannot delete it because you have requested that JCC retain it for the establishment of, compliance with, exercise of, or defense against legal claims.

• Right to withdraw consent
  You have the right at any time to withdraw your consent granted to JCC regarding your Personal Data.

• Right to make complaints
  You have the right to submit complaints to relevant data protection authorities if JCC has failed to comply with the applicable law.

JCC will try to respond to all requests to exercise the above rights within 30 days. However, it may take us longer than a month if your request is particularly complex. JCC generally does not charge any fee for the exercise of the above rights unless your request is unfounded, repetitive, or excessive.
