The GMS Committee conducts Inspection Tour of the East-West Economic Corridor

From February 6th to 8th, The GMS Committee (Chair: Mr. TANAKE Mitsuaki, Itochu (Thailand) Ltd. conducted the 2024 Economic Corridor Inspection Tour. This year's itinerary was focused on the East-West Economic Corridor traveling overland from Khon Kaen in Northeastern Thailand via the Mukdahan border and the Dan Sawan border in Laos to Hue in Vietnam in a period of three days and two nights.


In Hue, they visited the ruins of the Nguyen Dynasty Royal Palace and other places before returning to Bangkok by air from Da Nang Airport. (Details of this inspection tour will be published in May on the Shoho.)
